Screed for Underfloor Heating

From potential savings on your heating bill, to more space in your home, underfloor heating is an effective way of keeping your home warm.

Floor Screeding Solutions can install Liquid or Bagged Screed over your underfloor heating system, depending on your needs.

Liquid Screed for Underfloor Heating
Compared with conventional floor-levelling methods, liquid screed is twice as efficient at conducting heat when used on top of an underfloor heating system.

Gyvlon® THERMIO®+ Technology Screed

Floor Screeding Solutions use Gyvlon® THERMIO®+ Technology Screed, which is the only screed with a guaranteed thermal performance.  With this Screed, your floor temperature will rise much faster, thanks to the high thermal diffusivity (up to +80% compared to a cement screed); thus, providing a quicker response to thermostat changes.

Furthermore, this means your boiler or heat pump will work with a better efficiency; allowing considerable savings on your heating bill.

This screed emits heat in a more efficient and homogeneous way, thanks to the exceptional thermal emission value (up to 30%). Therefore, this maximises your underfloor heating performance, and provides greatly improved comfort.  THERMIO+ Liquid screed is typically laid between 30mm and 80mm deep.

The main benefit of choosing Bagged Screed to cover your underfloor heating is the speed at which it dries.  Your floor will be able to take foot traffic or be tiled on after only 1-2 hours.
Extra flexible levelling screed works brilliantly with substrates prone to movement or expansion which makes it excellent for heating systems which may be subject to expand at times.
